Give me (1) player off of the 2 former coaches roster that you would make a nice addition to the present team:

Stan Heath - Ronnie Brewer

John Pelphrey - Patrick Beverly

I would have to go with brewer. I think he was more of a team player.

Brewer - MA's up-tempo would have fit him so much better than Stan Heath's

Beverly - the type of guard we need

UNCLE BACK

Jonathan Modica and Courtney Fortson.

Ronnie Brewer and Sonny Weems. Two guys that could get their own shot and would thrive in MA's system. They would also give us some bigger guards which would help against teams like UK and Florida.

Do you happen to have any rapping skills? I think we could set you up with DJ Khaled and you could make a song entitled, "All I Do Is Bitch"

Don't think you can beat these 2 choices right here.  Both of these guys were tailor made for CMA's system.  I would have loved to see P.Bev play in this system.

Weems, Fortson, Modica...all GREAT choices.

CDBHawg:  I love the kid as a person, but Stephen "The Preying Mantis II" Hill??  Not sure you understood the question.  He would NOT work in this system.

Brewer because they need a go to guy.
Fortson because he was a pretty good point guard.

The obvious answers are Brewer and Beverley.

Lineup:
PG: Beverley
SG: Madden
SF: Brewer
PF: Portis
C: Kingsley

Some teams may not even be able to get the ball up the floor with that lineup.  Only person on that list that's not really a great defender is Madden, but he's still above average with his length at 6'5 and he's improved a little bit every year.

I thought Patrick Beverley was a Shooting Guard at Arkansas, not a Point Guard.

Therefore:

Lineup:
PG: Fortson
SG: Beverley
SF: Brewer
PF: Portis
C: Kingsley

I'm going to cheat a bit and pull a Heath recruit who didn't make the roster. A mister Al Jefferson, the one who got away.

I understood. If I had to pick two, I'd say Brewer & Weems. But as far as additions to the current team give me the shot blocker down low with Portis. Also give me the knock down shooter off the bench.

So, I'll add Hill and Clarke to the current team.

PG - Durham/Beard
SG - Madden
SF - Qualls
PF - Portis
C - Hill

That's a solid squad with Rot as 6th man.

That's three.

Brewer and Weems would be an interesting combo as well. Tough to choose between Weems and Beverely.

Ironhawg

Eddie Sutton:  Alvin Robertson or Darrell Walker (Defensive stopper)
Lanny Van Eman: Martin Terry (Shooter)

Ray Piggers

Beverley and Weems would rock in this system of MA's.
