The las thing i want to do is get everyone all fired up for no reason. but we may get a commitment soon.  I have been hesistant to share since the solomon thomas debackle.  But last night I felt a twinge in my R big toe from about 1:20-1:45am off and on.  I haven't done a thing to make it better either.  I am hoping that it returns tonight.

I know who PWJ is talking about. If we get him it would be nice. Most likely to start next season as a true freshman.

Who is it?

There are a few recruits that could pull the trigger this weekend.

* McKinley Whitfield - Listed as an athlete. Can play WR, LB or Safety. Does not have an offer right now, but looks to get one this weekend. If he does, look for Arkansas to really push for a commitment from him.

* Blake Johnson - One of the best punters out there. Arkansas wants him to come in and replace Sam Irwin Hill in 2015. Really like Arkansas. Look for a commitment out of him this weekend. If he doesn't commit, he is also going to LSU next weekend. They haven't offered him. Would be a great get.

* Dominique Reed - Out of Coffeyville C.C. Kansas. Originally from Camden Arkansas. Does have an offer. 6-4, 175, Listed 4.35 in the 40. Played with A.J. Derby and Martrell Spaight at Coffeyville in 2012.

Johnson plans to visit LSU after leaving Arkansas. He promised his parents he wouldn't make his college decision until after the end of July.

And which of the two would start as a freshman? Reed won't be a freshman? Im not trying to call you out or anything at all, you just made it sound like a big time huge get would be committing. One that could come in as a frosh and immediately compete.

Blake Johnson would start.  The other two have zero SEC offers combined.

Maybe he's talking about someone not listed here.

I would be very pleased with a Whitfield commitment. Although he might not see the field his freshman year, he is very talented to say the least.

Is there a listing of kids invited to and that will be participating in the Elite Camp?

I guess a bout of gout ain't all bad.

Keep an eye on that big toe PWJ.  I hope you don't lose it if the get is huge enough.

The gout came back last night.  It was a short round but it was definitely there and was particularly painful (but only for a bit).  then the pain subsided and was better.

I had red meat yesterday (cube steak fried in a skillet with generic A 1 sauce).

We'll see.  I hope I havent tainted this thing like I did the Solomon Thomas.

I missed half of Springer on account of the d@med racket!  They are going to the casino agin.)

Guess I'll turn in.  I hope I haven't mixed this thing too rich but I'd like to close on someone if possible.

Got me tonight.  This one is bad.  My feet are on fire (the right one is worst). I just glanced and  don't see any news but I didn't eat bad and here it is agin.  Something is up.   I think we'll have a new commit by morning.  Maybe a silent commit.  Feels like at least a 4 star maybe a 5.  Oh hell, I say nothing.  I had pork brains in milk gravy and sausage gravy this morning (that Jimmy Dean sage).  So it might be that.  But it just struk all the sudden.  and a bad case of hemroids which i don't usually have.  Burning feet and @&&.  I don't know how I'll get back to sleep other than soaking in epson salts and wedging an ice pack where the sun dont shine.  But this feels like a big one.  Not quite collins big but big.

Wow!  I don't know how I missed that last night.  Evidently that kid committed yesterday.  That must have been the tingle I was feeling.  Based on the severity I wouldn't be a bit surprised if either we get another one or that kid is an all american.

Jacks, that boy is one of the best in the nation. One of the top kicking trainers in America had some good things to say about him. Also had the Applewhite kid in town and he seemed to LOVE the experience he had. I would say your toe is pretty close to the situation.

On a side note, I know you are still tore up about S. Thomas from last year. Now Jacks, even our own R. Davenport seemed to think he was coming here, so they ain't no reason to beat yurself up over matters beyond the heart. You provide a great deal on here and I figger your more acurate than Otis anyway.

Now listen!  What I did with the Solomon Thomas situation was WRONG!!  I tried to induce the gout for selfish purposes!  My Gout was a gift from above and was intended to be used for good....somewhere along the way I lost track of that.  I got greedy.  Thought I could force his hand and land us a big fish!  A Huge Get!

I appreciate your words and trying to make me feel better but I take ALL the responsibility for Thomas going to Sanford.  If I hadn't eat chips and cube steak and drank beer and gorged on deviled eggs he might have come here on his own.

I think the man upstairs, what gave me this gift (if you want to call it that) this ability to foretell a big recruit signing by the prickly fire of gout ....mere nights before a big signing or commitment...I think He was trying to teach me a lesson.  He'll  put it in there hearts where to go...I'll get the painful unquenchable fire in my R toe (sometimes L if I have sardines slathered up with barbeque sauce)
...and then I am to pass the word to all of you.  Period.

You don't get greedy.  It cost us Thomas. And I am to blame. I am sorry to all Razorback fans.
