Every year, some college football team, ranked at the bottom of in its own division/conference, ends up with a gaudy record at the end.  Why not us?

Can't wait for football season.

As fans, our job is to support the team and coach through it all, with little exceptions. That's what I'll do. The kids will take care of it on the field.

National expectations are so low, if we went 7-5, we would have people talking and build huge momentum with recruits.  I am being optimistic and picking us at 6-6 so if we are slightly worse than I think, we'll hit the 5 wins expected.  If we are better (or just luckier) than I think, 7 wins could happen.  I don't know if that's "gaudy" in your book but it would be huge for the program.
