I know we're close to football season, and mods absolutely feel free to move, but I met a veteran today marching down the road I lived on.  He is marching from North Carolina to California to raise money for veterans in need.  Check it out and help out if you can.  He just finished walking through Arkansas and is moving into Oklahoma now.
