That is a great looking cover.

The thing that struck me is the 30 seniors pictured on the cover from 1964.  That represents a huge sea change in how college football operates now compared to 50 years ago.  Scholarship limits leave you with 18.  There was a time that scholarship limits were in place to keep schools like Texas, Alabama, and even Arkansas from hoarding talent.  Now, scholarship limits work in our favor.

The roster in the media guide does not include wide receiver D'Arthur Cowan and cornerback Chris Murphy.

Head coach Bret Bielema announced on Sports Talk with Bo Mattingly July 3 that Cowan was released from the team, while Murphy did not return to Fayetteville for summer workouts after going home at the end of the spring semester.

The roster lists Cordale Boyd as a defensive lineman, as well. The redshirt sophomore appeared in nine games as an offensive lineman in 2013.
