Question about something RD said.

On Tuesday bits, RD said that more offers might not be extended after this current camp. What does this mean to a guy like Avery Johnson who wants to earn one this summer?

"I really can't do anything because of my quad," Johnson said. "But after talking to coach (Barry) Lunney, I'll back in July for a camp. I should be good then. I'm going to do everything I can to be good."

I think this is very similar to what happened to K.J. Hill. He was hurt at our camp last year and the coaches wanted to get a better look at him before offering.

If Avery runs a 4.5 this July , will he get an offer then or is the best he can hope for is an offer closer to signing day?

Sprinkle will likely be the only other one to get an offer.

Avery is in the mix but his quad didn't allow him to finish the camp. Avery needs to take a break and come back healthy in July. He's been having problems with the quad for awhile.
