Why mess with our logo this much?

Why is it cross-eyed?

Guess we are trying to be all inclusive

There's so much wrong with this, and yet, I laughed.  Twice.   ;D
I've never wanted a Hog coach to be successful more than I do for Pittman.  He's one of the good guys.

I love how people are already butt hurt having not even seen the logo.  A secondary logo at that.  Just goes to show, in Arkansas there's always a reason to gripe about the razorbacks.

Maybe because it looks like it was designed by a first-grader? There are more creative posters on Hogville who have better graphic design skills. The question for me is we can "create" this abortion but we can't bring back "slobberin' Hog" on the basketball court? This secondary logo stuff runs contrary to what we were told about "branding" of the Hog logo. I could get on board if it looked good, but it's awful. The mighty Razorback took a Xanax.

Pretty sure the new logo wont be a top seller !

I've seen that Hog on some oil paintings scattered around for years.  Wasn't there a guy from Searcy that initially painted the Hog that way?  And yes, I have no idea what I'm talking about, but that just seems to be in my head for some reason.

It's not like horrible uniform changes haven't happened before... Remember 1996? And the ugly dark maroon color unis with the huge hog on each shoulder? I would see that and just shake my head. And we sucked that year too and went back to normal unis the next season. I'm reserving judgement until I actually see the new logo other than small on the back of a black cap.

We should just go ahead and fire Jeff Long before he re-brands again.
My sources are unreliable, but their information is fascinating.

Maybe he should be branded.

Having never purchased any Razorback gear with popcorn Hog or a color gradient, I won't end my rebrand no-purchase streak if I see any hat or shirt with that piece of crap logo on it. It's horrible.

Don't insult a six year old like that!  This is the second fubar on logos.  This was done by the same idiot who put the white hog on the white helmet.  Geez this stuff is bad.

Looks like our hog has pock marks from acne.  Anybody who would wear this crap must be related to the guy who came up with this not so brilliant art work.

If the South should lose, it means that the history of the heroic struggle will be written by the enemy, that our youth will be trained by Northern school teachers, will be impressed by all of the influences of history and education to regard our gallant dead as traitors and our maimed veterans as fit subjects for derision.

A logo of a boar impaling a child would be fine with me if we were winning. The concern over a secondary logo at this time is a little puzzling.

Who does this stuff?  One might reasonably ask why we need a secondary logo when we have just about  if not the most recognizable logo in college sports.  But, assuming we do, why can't we use something that would be equally recognizable?  That thing is so bad that most people who do not know, will wonder what it is.  Embroider it, put it on a hat, maybe get in a little dirty and no one will have any idea what that reddish blob on your hat is.

If five or six years, this will be just another relic of the Jeff Long era that will have people wondering just exactly what we were thinking.

I'm fine with it as a secondary logo.

The color change, if true, I am unhappy with.

I don't guess my feelings matter much though.

Some will never understand that, unless they are the one's buying the maroon glasses at Walmart.

HawgFan70

Its just a merchandise matter, change the secondary logo, switch from Nike then back to Nike, little color change here or there. That is what keeps the Tshirts, hoodies, and caps flying off the shelves. This is nothing that hasn't happened before the only difference is Long is marketing it like something huge. I don't care if they wear tie dye as long as they win games. If we are losing games being best dressed means nothing to me

Why can't people understand this. The color that we've had on our jerseys for the last 10-15 years isn't changing.

NaturalStateReb

It's a pretty grainy imagine, but what I could make out was pretty unimpressive.

I say bring back the sweater hog.  Completely classic logo.
