Yep, Serrano lined one over his head last night and that was about 5-10 short of the track when it landed.  Probably not the best choice this afternoon with a strong wind.

Wow, I didn't see the game last night but we should be able to get the ball over his head. That ball bernal hit is a base hit most games.

Ibarra works the count full, and he grounds out 4-3 on a ball hit pretty much right back up the middle.

Chinea grounds a single through the hole past a diving Bernal into LF.

ucahogfan

Stevenson runs the count full, and he draws a 2 out walk.  He was gifted a couple of balls in that AB as a check swing where he went around was appealed and the 3B ump said he didn't and ball 3 was a fastball over the middle of the plate at the knees.

ucahogfan

Robertson lines an 0-2 pitch into LCF field and Serrano just can't get to it.  2 runs score.  Double for Robertson.

4-0 LSU.

I didn't think he came anywhere near swinging, calls looked good, too.

Last in the SEC and hitting?

When is the last time Razorback baseball as handsome really good hitting?

It seems the past two years that hitting is been not so good.

LSU got hits from a .176 and a .174 hitter in that inning.

Yep, it feels like we gave those runs away after getting 2 outs

From the side view, it looked like his bat crossed the front of the plate.

Fisher BOOM!  Fisher lined a fastball over the wall in CF.  His 4th HR of the year and his 19th RBI.  That ball got out about 3 times quicker than Ibarra's HR.

4-1 Tigers.

The check swing was a good call, in my opinion. The ball 4 was as good of a pitch as Beeks could throw. Should have been a strike three considering the previous inning Wise was called for 2 strikes on a pitch at the feet, and a pitch that ended up behind his legs.

It is irrelevant, though. No timely hitting, and Beeks is not as sharp today. A lot of hard hit balls by LSU today. Hopefully we can take the game tomorrow if we don't come back today. If the pattern holds, we will come home and win the series against a top 10 Vanderbilt team.

At least we aren't going down quietly. Back in it by getting those 2 runs back. Still plenty of ABs left.

From the side view, it looked like his bat crossed the front of the plate.

We saw two different things then, I didn't think it came close as he had it played way back. The knob may have crossed, but I didn't think he made a swing. Oh well, glad we got two back, could have been more.

Scoring 2 runs against Nola last night was an impressive feat and our bats have been hot for the last 5 or 6 games, I'm not giving up.

Scivicque grounds a single into left just past the diving glove of Wernes who was going to his left.

Minor thing that bugs me, and has for years. The LSU coach is Paul Mainieri, and every time the announcers say it I want to think it is Polmineri, or something to that effect. Just say his last name, and be done with it!

Bax lines the first pitch just under the diving glove of Bregman into left for a single.

Wise very high fly ball is dropped by the LF as he collides with the SS.  Runners on 1st and 2nd with 0 outs.  E7.

Fisher sac fly to the wall in RF.  He crushed the ball and I thought we had just gotten the lead.  His 20th RBI of the year (2nd today).

4-3 LSU.

Sophomore LHP Hunter Devall and Junior RHP Brady Domangue warming in the pen.
