Here's hoping we get a finish this good again

hogs24

One of my favorite tracks. Can't believe it only gets one race a year yet Mich and pocono get two.

Kevin Harvick on the pole!

We should take a pool to see what lap he has some wild malfunction this race...

Chase Elliott Win number 2 last night. That kid will have a great career.

Thank You, Harvick. Did not want to see the 48 win. Harvick deserved to win.

I agree.  Harvick was definitely the best car tonight.

Hell yeah!  The 4 to victory lane at Darlington!  +1's for everybody!!!

I thought for sure his lkuck caught him when he jacked up his splitter on the brake rotor debris.

He adds another marquee win to his impressive career resume now.

Harvick.....a more condescending prick in NASCAR there couldn't be.

He's worse in real life than what you get on the tube.

I've met him a bunch of times and never had a problem with him.  He's intense, he likes to win.  I don't know if I can blame him.

Chase had a good race Friday night and made the move for the win late in the race

acey33

I think Jr. had the win until that last caution came out...It was a good finish either way

Delicious~Dreams

I was wanting Dale Jr to win so bad but I have a feeling he's close to another win soon.

Daytona 500 - check
Brickyard 400 - check
Coke 600 - check, twice
Pepsi/Coke 400 at Daytona - check
Southern 500 - check
All Star Race - check
Bud Shootout - check, 3 times
Martinsville - check
Bristol - check
Richmond - check
And then all his normal wins at places like Kansas, Phoenix, and Chicagoland.

Rookie of the Year
2 x Busch Series champion

Of the marquee events in NASCAR, he's just missing a championship now.  He's finished top 3 in the points 3 of the last 4 years.  Given the current level of competition in the series, that's pretty impressive.

Which wins of his do you not find impressive?

it is an impressive resume but the Daytona win doesn't impress me. in fact nobody that has won there in the last 30 years has impressed me. it's a crap shoot. anybody can win. look at the list of nobodies that have won that race -Derrick Cope, Trevor Bayne, Michael Waltrip (twice!), Jamie McMurray, and Ward Burton.

Not even Dale Earnhardt?     I agree many no names happen to win the race by pure luck it sometimes seems but it's still one of the best races in Nascar and many drivers will not experience a win there.

HogScoutMaster

Not to argue to much but he has what? 4 or 5 more wins than Jr?
Won at most the same tracks, also won 2 BGN Championships.  I am not a Jr hater, well cause I like him and even I wouldn't say Jr's career was "impressive"

Winning Brickyard, Daytona, and Coke 500 in a single year is impressive and NOT many can say they have ever done that so lets may off Jamie.

Well I think anyone would say that Dale Jr. from 2000 through 2006 was a much different driver than afterwards.  He was good for top of the points and several wins a year and no one questioned back then that he was at the top of the sport.  Nearly all his wins came back then.

Harvick has been a consistent 2-4 wins a year his entire career which is much more than many can say.

This is the best Jr has looked since 03 - 04. Wouldn't be surprised to see him win a few more this year.
