That's what they said when they lost the QB before this one that was also busting A out there. The next guy that steps in could be just as good. I certainly wouldn't mark that game as a W if I was the Hog team.

I agree. While last year was their best team the last few years they have been good. Very winnable, but not a gimme.

Their star QB who did everything for them offensively is gone. Not the same caliber team they were last year.

I'm thinking 6-6 is the more realistic goal. And even that will be tough.

Ok.  Just looking at upgrade from talent.. almost every single position a player returned from last year's squad. Offensive and Defense. 
We had more freshman all Americans then any other sec school. 

All those returning guys get another year to know the system....work with Herbert. 

Besides center and fullback we will have upgraded EVERY position from last year. 

And we almost beat Rutgers...Miss St...Lsu...that would have put us at 6 wins.

Played A&m very tough ...played Auburn tough....played Ole piss tough..
We COULD have won any of those games.

I think BA will be alot better.  I think he understands the system more and I think the wrs has upgraded.

It's going to come down to the defense. ..what can the new coaches do.
Have alot of guys practicing that played alot of ball last year.

I think we can win seven.  I was commenting on the "least we should accept" statement.  And while we "should" be better in some areas QB is still a big question mark.  Unless we make notable improvement in QB play, 7 wins is a stretch.
