Recruiting Coordinator?

It's been a while and I hadn't seen any thing reported on the recruiting coordinator. Just wondering if I had missed it.

No hire has been made yet.  The last time Bielema talked to the media he had interviewed 3 and had one more to go.

How important is a recruiting coordinator?  Are they more on the logistics side of things or do they actually have any influence?
Like smites bother me.

I thought the job was recruiting coordinators.  And we already have some of those.  At least one each for offense and defense.  How many do we need!?

We have a defense and offense coordinator, but the job is for our Recruiting Coordinator who works with our our recruits, high school coaches, etc....

I've been curious about this, too.  While I'm surprised we haven't hired anyone, yet, I hope Bielema takes his time to find the best person.  It's probably hurting us that the position is open, but finding the best person will pay greater dividends in the long run.

I can see it now "Son, I know you're a top rated RB, so I know we are on the outside looking in.  We have no shot at getting you.  Do you maybe have a friend I could talk into visiting that's more on our level?  We don't ever get your caliber, but if your best buddy wants to come, we can give him a shot as our plan C".

PorkHinds, the recruiting has been solid. That has not been the issue the new regions in florida is brilliant
