Any anticipation for the new thanksgiving game vs Mizzou?

Hogs were 4-7 coming in, and LSu was on the back end of a 4 game skid.  I think they had just gotten stomped at home by old misses. Yes, the catch was a hilite, but the game it self was not a huge draw.

I dint have the numbers in front of me

But Im sure it was still the highest rated Ark game in the SEC that year - last I looked it still was a top 1/3 game for the conference

Mizzou beat us in 1906, 1963, and in 2008.
Hogs won in 1944 & 2003.

It's a classic rivalry....

LOL!  Football went on from 1944 to 2003 just fine without our neighbors to the North.

We can't do anything about it other than support it - yes, it may never get much national exposure but it can still be fun for the fans of both schools - I may actually go to some games up there - Columbia is a nice college town and Baton Rouge is not a place I would ever want to visit - afraid to get pistol-whipped and too dang far away

You have given the only valid reason for the game

Good tailgate - but in late nov wear your long underwear

Let's take the next 5-10 years and see if it is a worthy game for a end of year game

I think it would be a great mid season game -

after 20 years of development the game may become a decent game - I just don't see it surviving because sometime in that time Mizzou will start playing Kansaw again
