[Unofficial] Hogville Bracket Challenge

I've only seen a couple of Hogville groups out there on various sites, and none of them had over a couple of members.

I've found Yahoo's system to be the easiest to use over the years. Plus, they're hosting the Billion Dollar Bracket Challenge this year.

1.) CLICK HERE
2.) Sign in or create a Yahoo account if needed (I think you can sign in using Facebook too).
3.) Submit a bracket.

Picks are due by 1am tonight/tomorrow morning. I doubt we get many members starting this late, but it might be fun for a few of us.

I joined up with my picks.

I spent three hours trying to break things down, talking myself into and out of teams.    Finally I just said '#$%@! it' and went with my first instincts.

Erie, I'm actually trying to analyze the matchup this year. I'm having trouble picking many good upsets, though. I mainly look at SOS and record vs. Top 25-50.

I ended up with 5 double digit seeds winning in the 1st round; I didn't have anyone seeded higher than 6th in the Sweet 16 though.   My Elite 8 and FF have so much chalk they could be the white cliffs of Dover.

I like "Prestige Worldwide" and "Baby Got Bracket" as well.  But, the "Coty Clarke What da Hail" can't be matched, I'm not even going to try to change to come up with anything better than that, it can't be beat.

Barack Obama stole my final four.  Just looking at this pool you gotta love the SEC bias.  65% of people in our pool picked Florida to win it all (including me) while just 36% of the country did.  Though I don't think of it as bias, just intelligence.

Yeah I'm not seeing it.  When you click on (not hover over) "My Brackets and Pools" at the top it lists out all of your brackets and which pools you are in.  Does it say on there that you are in the Hogville Bracket Challenge?

Okie State vs. Gonzaga was a tough one to pick, I had to go with Okie.

I love watching Stockton's son.  Looks a lot like him.  In one of the documentaries about The Dream Team, Stockton talks about no one but him being able to go anywhere in Spain without getting mobbed.  While Barkley, Jordan and all those guys were running from building to car and just trying to avoid the crowds, he walked freely with his wife and kids through the streets and parks...there was even an American woman he videotaped who stopped to talk with them and he was asking her if she had seen any of The Dream Team.  She said, no, but she wanted to or something like that.  Hilarious.

I went with Okie. St. But I also have them going deep, like final four deep. The way they've played since Marcus Smat came back had me sold. Now I'm thinking my bracket could be donzoe.

I definitely picked KU and OK St. in these games, but I didn't pick them to go far at all so I wouldn't mind seeing them go ahead and go down.

Still in first place but I had Duke going to the Elite 8 so that hurts. I had VCU losing in the sweet 16 so that doesn't hurt as bad as Duke.

I'm sitting in first right there with you both and also had Duke in the final four. That will end up hurting as more rounds play out. I expect to drop. Other than that, my picks have been fairly solid.
