tell those guys to stop their agendas.  If they don't know what they are talking about, then maybe they should keep their factually wrong comments to themselves.

So you don't think that anybody should point out how wrong that them were about things.  So, you believe that the people who discuss how wrong they were, are the problem.

Temprees, your part of the I told you so crowd. You ran and hid after the Bama and South Carolina games. Agenda to be a "I told you so," guy. I can't smite you enough.

I haven't hidden from anything.  I rarely post.  But when I do, generally it's to try and call out the agenda driven guys.

Do you honestly think 1 single post on this board has ever made the slightest difference on any sport at any level?

Given that message board rhetoric has been cited as a factor in recruiting *by recruits*,  absolutely.
No cause, ever, in the history of all mankind, has produced more cold-blooded tyrants, more slaughtered innocents, and more orphans than socialism with power. It surpassed, exponentially, all other systems of production in turning out the dead. The bodies are all around us. And here is the problem: No one talks about them. No one honors them. No one does penance for them. No one has committed suicide for having been an apologist for those who did this to them. No one pays for them. No one is hunted down to account for them. It is exactly what Solzhenitsyn foresaw in The Gulag Archipelago: "No, no one would have to answer. No one would be looked into." Until that happens, there is no "after socialism."

-1 for being such a good clowne on jump ball. Question for you TempresSmite. Say Odom and the Cycamores come to BWA and win tonight? Would you be calling everyone out as haters and agenda driven posters? Probably so, or you would hide after the game like you usually do
It depends on what is said, and who says it.  Some of you guys have a reputation for seeing NOTHING positive, despite obvious improvement.

After wins or losses, I rarely come on the board praising or criticizing the Hogs.  Most of the time I just read, and comment is response to something that is not factually correct.  Our best game in many years was the Ole Miss game.  I made one comment after that game.  I said, "Hogs made 19 of 20 Free Throws".  Check my post history.  That's it.

So you are "objective" when you go awol while we are winning and show back up to whine and moan when we lose?

Ding ding ding we have a winner.

The former CMA Grade thread, you hid from and I quoted some of the things you said like the sweet sixteen after beating Kentucky you said Hogs will go to the sweet sixteen

I said the same thing, just not on hogville.  I'm sure many many MANY people said the same thing, just not on a public forum.  Who cares?

One of the things I wish was better about Hogville, and I know this isn't possible, is for people to try and be a little more objective. It's hard because we all love the Hogs and want to see them do well.

But if they don't do well, it should be OK to try and analyze that and offer ideas about where problem areas are, how they might overcome and address those, and things that we hope happen so that they improve and reach their potential.

Saying a player makes poor decisions is called "bashing."

If my kid brings home a D on a test because he didn't study hard enough, I'm going to talk to him about his poor decisions. Is that "bashing" my kid? To some, I guess it is. And I deserve some blame for that poor grade, too. I'm the "coach" and I didn't have my kid prepared for success so I'm open to criticism as well.

My "recruiting" for a mother of that kid might be fair game as well.

That's just how I see feedback about the team. I don't think that it's "bashing," I think it's kicking around ideas to try and get better.

Of course I guess I could take another approach and just say "My kid's great. That teacher/ref just doesn't like him. He gives A's to the other kid but has it in for my kid."

I might wish for that to be the case, because then I get to be the victim and don't have to accept any responsibility for my kid's failures.

Anyway, it makes me sad that in here, like in our country, we have to throw stones, or kick them, at one another. I love my Hogs (class of 2008) and I love my country (class of the world), but I don't think that they should be given a pass. We have a right to expect more from our teams and more from our country because we ARE a part of both, we do spend our money on both.

Even more reason as to where Tooth is the most brilliant poster on this forum. He is a quality poster and even better with his knowledge. He is better for jump ball than anyone realizes. RazrBroncs, three hog night and temprees need to take notes

I'm sure Tooth would agree that knowledhe is power  ;)

TOM "tbw1"

Posters need to learn how to weave facts into a cogent post.  The problem is that posters begin with their position and then ignore anything that does not fit what they have already decided.

It also puzzles why someone's likes or dislikes of a "system" colors how you define a position.
Well see, there's your problem. What you should be thinking is, what would Harry Rex do?

Very GOP like. Is there even a moderator at vent and rumors?

If you children want to keep pouting and throwing tantrums, they'll all end up here.

Some of you aren't happy unless you trash every thread.  It's fine to criticize but some of you are pathetic with your baseless negative venom.  It's unbecoming of a Razorback fan.

As opposed to democrat Obama who said over and over again... "If you like your health plan, you can keep it" or "if you like your doctor you get to keep your doctor"... You mean like that kind of dishonesty??? Surely the GOP hasn't done that, especially to the detriment of our health care system. Oh, that's right... None of the GOP in congress bought obamas lies and voted for the scam. I will never forget democrat Nancy pelosis words... "We have to pass the bill to actually know what's in it" shazaam!!

Pouting and throwing a tandrum about what. Tooth gets all his threads sent here for no real reason. Tooth is one of the most brilliant posters on this forum

I call BS. Where's the pouting and throwing tantrums? Let's face it, unless you're a gd blind liar, there are some people protected, and some persecuted.

It does bug me a bit. I can't come in and try and open a sensible thread without a bunch of IB's coming in and causing trouble. Because reasonable discourse isn't tolerated when it doesn't fit the narrative.

On the other hand IDGAF because I know what's what.

Like, I can't go post about how the Hogs are gonna get stomped at Cal, because the whine mob will throw a fit. But again, IDGAF at the end of the day.

Maybe people are still pissed that I won my bet last year about BJ Young. At least that dude had some honor, unlike about 60 percent of yas.

You know, I just went back over this thread. It was mature until a few homers came in stirring stuff up. But THEY'RE not slammed, the thread gets trashed.

It's really obvious that there's a double standard. Honestly, it's a big 'ol plate of weaksauce.

Not good enough to avoid getting trashed!

Tooth

Looks to me like the guy who stirred it up was "Temprees." Otherwise no reason for this thread to get trashed.

I'd love a mod to explain it. But most of them are more interested in wielding what they think is "power" than doing what they should be doing.

Actually, I kinda did. At 2-6 I started a poll grading CMA. That's open to sunshine pumpers and rock-kickers. Too bad it got deleted, it was interesting to watch the ebb and flow.

It was indeed brilliant thread that was unjustly removed

The issue is posters that had NOTHING to say at the time coming back to take shots once things changed. A lot of folks had a lot to say once we started winning but didn't try to argue these "factually incorrect" opinions at the time. And we're talking about a thread that EVERYONE had to have read. Yet, not many felt the need to assert how well things were going at the time of the poll and only chose to do so when they knew they wouldn't look bad for it.

The "hahaha you were wrong" crowd are just as bad as "critical posters."

The problem isn't crtiquing what went wrong, the problem arises when there is a lack of praise even when things go right. That's when it clearly becomes not about true success but trying to push an agenda.

There is No Agenda... we are playing better football
