I was curious as to what ever happened to Clarke after Butler. I Googled and found that he played for the Wollongong Hawks in Australia. I was then curious as to whether or not Clarke saw any playing time.

Come to find out, he is leading the race for MVP honors in the league.

Clarke dropped 39 points this past Sunday: http://www.hawks.com.au/article/id/100zbi4vaxyq1m72cr2ckgel2

No matter your view on Clarke, dropping 39 points (even in an Australian league) is pretty impressive.

Not really impressed.  Is he taking the most shots on the team by far and do they not play defense?

No doubt about that. I didn't do too much research into that but for the game he dropped 39 points in, he was 4/8 for the 3pt. and 14/21 (61%) from the floor.

LOL. I'm glad that this is brought up every time he comes up. He deserves to be shamed for that crap.

I think the rumor was something to the extend of Rotnei being caught with things that weren't his (stuff that belonged to the Athletic Dept. I believe).

every time I see his name I picture him sneaky around taking things lol

Bunch of "grown men" that sound like jaded teen age girls every time he gets brought up.

I don't get the vitriol directed at Rotnei on here.

Certainly I wish he would've finished his career as a Hog, but for a myriad of reasons that have been discussed on here ad nauseum, he decided to leave.

He gave Arkansas three great years and broke a record I didn't think would ever be broken (Al Dillard's 3's in a game).

Anytime he caught the ball around the perimeter with an open look, I thought it was going in.

I hope he does well overseas and in whatever future endeavors he has in store.

Did you ever notice that some of the best foreign players are in that country only because their father played pro ball in that country.  Same with Exum his father played at North Carolina.

Did you hear about the dyslexic agnostic with insomnia? He laid awake all night wondering if there really was a dog.

Notice the PG he went up against last game, and led the 36ers in scoring!  Razorbacks taking over Australia!

I know the family, he still considers himself a razorback.

Of course he does. He was here 3 years, and knew we wouldn't be dancing his SR year. Butler had a phenomenal coach, better style of play for him, and was coming off back to back final fours. Honestly, who could blame him?

Kinda interesting that over in JB we're discussing who should be "invited" to leave the team and for all practical purposes the school to free up a scholly.  Over here we rip on a former player who made a basketball decision to leave and chase an opportunity to maybe play for championship with the last chance he had while eligible.

rusvegashog

4 Shizzel, wish Rotnei would have had a better supporting cast around him, but he just didn't. Dude did what he had to do. Fact of the matter if he wasn't as good as he was people wouldn't be so butt hurt over it. I think it's funny how sensitive people are when it comes to Petrino and Rotnei. People need to feel all fuzzy inside vicariously and when that's taken away, it's bring out the pitchforks. For the record I wanted him to stay but he didn't and I TOTALLLY understood. I thought Petrino should have kept his job, but he didn't, and I totally understood.

pigture perfect

I hold nothing against Rotnei Clarke. I liked his game. I think he gets a bad rap most of the time.

Gary Ervin. +1 Good catch. Glad to see he's doing well. I really wish their was a forum that kept track of former players. It seems like we're so anxious to get them in here but the moment their time is up its on to the next one. Maybe that's just life though. I can say now that Nash (my favorite player) is in LA(my least favorite team), the Rockets w brewer and Beverly are w/out a doubt my favorite team. Love them Hogs!!

rusvegashog

Well just read Brewer had been cut. That sux. I don't think he's had the same quickness since the knee injury. Not a good deal if you're a defensive specialist sent out to guard the other teams best one or two guard. Bad deal.
