Excited about the future of the football program.

Plus the basketball hogs busted out the anthracite and gotta win on the road. Nothing but smiles today.

A welcome thread.

It is always a good day to be a Hog, but some days are a bit better.
I am a Hog fan. I was long before my name was etched, twice, on the sidewalks on the Hill. I will be long after Sam Pittman and Eric Mussleman are coaches, and Hunter Yuracheck is AD. I am a Hog fan when we win, when we lose and when we don't play. I love hearing the UA band play the National Anthem on game day, but I sing along to the Alma Mater. It's sad we are all giddy about beating ...Vanderbilt....

Cue my redundant post about where we are now as opposed to where we used to be or should be or whatever.

A win is a win though.

With our road record the last 10 years, I woulda been thrilled watching them beat Fayetteville boys club on the road.

A good part of our road woes have been the discrepancies in the foul calls.

^this, i thought same song same verse at about the 5 minute mark, but they flipped it and came through with the big shot when it counts the most.

Can only hope this is the building block for the rest of the season.  If they can some how close out strong and make the big dance i think we will feel it on the recruiting trail and next year big time.

For some reason, the basketball team wearing it doesn't turn me off like it does when the football team does.
