Any idea on when the updated roster will come out? I'm itching to do another weight comparison of our players.

intresting thing is our SR Class only has a few who will hurt by graduating . so maybe 15 is a year we can make a run in the SEC

2015 is the first year we can be real proud of.  It cuts both ways on the Seniors and Juniors.   We don't lose much in graduation after this season, but we also don't get much leadership from this pool of upper classmen.

The SEC is so tough you need a solid senior class every season that have mental and physical maturity.   Look at how many of our best players are Sophomores?   Look at the RS JR's and there is very little production, but true Juniors are few yet have some solid players.
Petrino left a mess and Bielema is trying to fill in the talent gaps.  Anderson finally has some talent to work with.  He needs more at select positions and that will come in the next recruiting class.
Posters that think they are Jim Rhome are ruining message boards.

To make a strong push in 2015:

If we aren't set at QB in 2015, then something has gone terribly wrong. There will be a glut of talented bodies at the position.
We will need another quality running back if Williams declares
Getting at least one of O'Grady or Gragg, hopefully both.
Our WR's should be pretty good, as they will be upperclassmen heavy
OL should be excellent

I feel pretty comfortable at DE. For whatever else Petrino did, he did leave us a nice parting gift of some talented DE's.
DT is still a little worrisome. Granted, we don't really lose anybody from 2014 to 2015, though we don't know how anybody outside of Philon will play next year, so...
We will have to have some more JUCO LB'ers for 2015. Seriously. We will only have walk-on players, 3 safeties still trying to become LB'ers, and then Otha and Ellis. I feel pretty good with Otha and Ellis, but help is desperately needed here.
If we have a good secondary coach, then CB should not be an issue. There is a good balance of upperclassmen and talented youngsters.
Gaines is a proven commodity at S, but we don't currently have anybody else who's proven there. Good news is that we have some bodies that have potential there and should replace Turner or maybe Coleman as starter sometime next season.

We will be breaking in a new punter and new snapper.

Thanks BeastBack 50. Nice job. Someone earlier asked the question about what signees are already on campus. So you covered that.

Man, in looking at the entire list, we seem to have a LOT of DBs and receivers. But we have to find quality, not quantity...because we were not strong there. Hopefully the quality players are in the group somewhere.

Another question, how in the wide world of sports were we not able to get another big time LB to sign with us. If you're a 4 star LB, you're basically guaranteed a second string spot by just signing your name on a NLI.  Just blows my mind.

I am a Hog fan. I was long before my name was etched, twice, on the sidewalks on the Hill. I will be long after Sam Pittman and Eric Mussleman are coaches, and Hunter Yuracheck is AD. I am a Hog fan when we win, when we lose and when we don't play. I love hearing the UA band play the National Anthem on game day, but I sing along to the Alma Mater. I know that.  Mine was strictly a spring ball roster since that is the next phase.

The next step will be guessing who on that roster decides to transfer after spring ball.  I see a couple of OL that might need to transfer if they ever want to play.
