Right now light snow and sleet in Harrison, looks like we've picked up an inch or two this morning. Most of the main roads in the area were clear yesterday afternoon, but are now covered and slick again.

The base delayed an hour yesterday and roads were fine.  Today the roads were bad and they are talking about shutting down for non essentials (me).  I'm waiting to find out.  Ice all over the parking lots and roads but mostly rain falling now.

everything but the roads are covered in ice.

Coldest I have ever been was a Razorback Homecoming game against TAMU back in the early 80's. It was 29 degrees and raining. Had to break the ice off the creases in my pants at my knees so I could stand up at halftime. Miserable. Hogs won though. Bet there weren't two hundred people in the stands that day.

I have seen rain when it's in the upper 20s and snow when it's in the lower 30s. The worst snow storm I have been in there was thunder and lighting.

I was one of em, and yes, that was the most miserable Fayetteville game I ever attended. Before I read your post, I was trying to remember which game that was. It really stood out on the misery scale. Thanks for the reminder (I think).
