For my own amusement, I'm thinking of keeping this list updated with counts for each as the season goes on. Anyone else have anything I should add?

I'd also like to welcome everyone back to Jump Ball for another wonderful year of basketball. If you haven't been paying attention this offseason, Ray Biggers did 10-12 good basketball things and we landed some solid recruits. This season, I think we should all strive to better ourselves both individually and collectively. If you need advice, my inbox is open.

My main goals this season are to bring Smithian back over from the grey side, become better friends with BeoPig, not frustrate Uncle Kevin, take cityhog's pancakes, and continue to demoralize HawgAdvocate and his flip-floppyness through a continual series of epic beatdowns.

This list would not be complete without mentioning the art of the "shot-fake".  Perhaps substitution patterns, particularly on the road.  And of course you can't play zone on out-of-bounds plays underneath your own basket.

I seriously doubt that #4 will apply since this years Hog team is Big Man Heavy. You might need to keep a close eye on that last one though.
