Who's your pick to win it next week? The fishing has been tough latetly on the Red. I was out there Sunday, and the water was muddy with a temp of 96 degrees. That should make the fish go shallow and hold up under the vegetation.

I'll pick Jay Yelas. I prefer Bass Elite series as long as flw continues allowing umbrella rig use. It will be a long trip from New York to Shreveport for Jason Christie who is in elite event this weekend before heading to Cup. Interesting You Tube show called "Circuit Breaker" chronicles flw tour rookie Casey Martin and his ups and downs. Show provides good insight into life of pro bass angling - check it out.

I spent some time with a couple of the pro's, and they're not excited with the future of the FLW. I was pulling for Nixon or Powroznik to win it.

Randall Tharp, aka the honey badger, finally won the cup and $500,000 first place prize. Arkansas had three top ten finishers:
Ageless Larry Nixon (5th) $50,000
Mark Rose (7th) $40,000
Robbie Dodson (10th) $25,000
