I have also said 7-6 since December. If it's a losing season, I'll be disappointed but not discouraged. BB & Crew have my full support.

EDIT: My W/L is pretty much the same as yours. We could also pick up a game like South Carolina and lose the Bowl.

Agree completely.

6-6 with wins over Auburn and MSU.

I don't agree with predicting bowl games when you don't know the opponent.  So, I'm going with 6-6.   It could be against La Monroe or could be against Florida State or OU that early season injuries.

I think 4-8 is much more likely than 9-3.

Rutgers might have lost many of their play makers. Someone else can do the research. Even with our crappy team (results) last year, with the proper leadership, we would have defeated Rutgers at home last year.

I've been watching Arkansas for years. I'm not sure when the last time we've played an out of conference game and traveled so far and played well and won. I think the mental toughness part will be as important as anything when it comes to beating Rutgers at Piscataway (sp) this fall. Let's hope our guys are mentally tougher than our basketball team on the road.

HiggiePiggy

My real prediction is 6-6 regular season.   We lose to Rutgers then it's 5-7.

Not saying I disagree with your assessment, but injuries and breaks are impossible things to predict.  If anything, both regress back to the mean, and they (along with turnovers) killed us last year.  I'm not predicting the anti-2012 happening in 2013, but we didn't have so much as a ball bounce our way last year.  Last season was the perfect storm of awful coaching, rash of injuries, poor turnover margin, and breaks not going our way.

So Miss- w
Rutgers- w
aTm- l
Florida- l
SC- to
Bama- l
Auburn- w
OM- w
MSU- to
LSU- to/L

We go 7-5 with a decisive bowl victory giving us 8 wins, with an outside chance at 8-4 if we win 2 of three toss ups and a chance for a 9 win season depending on bowl opponent.

Our offseason has been positively sensational so far this year. If we can make it these last five weeks without some crap going down, we'll have had one of the best offseasons in the SEC. Our players not shooting themselves in the foot is already evident.

I realize that's not really what you're talking about, but us maintaining what depth we have with players behaving themselves and not sustaining any practice injuries has helped us tremendously thus far.

This plus a&m and s.car at home.  If I wasn't a homer I would predict we might could win one of those two, but I'm a homer so I'm going to say we win both.

We were ahead of a&m last year at their place into the 2nd quarter until Knile started acting like the football was a magnet and he was a piece of metal of opposite polarity.

And T. Wilson throwing INTs all over the field like he was coming off a concussion or something.

A lot has to go right for us to win eight.  A lot has to go wrong to win just four.

Hard to predict, yes, but they happen.  And unfortunately, our depth is not where we would like it across the board yet.

I think we'll see marked improvement in the first units,  but there is going to be a season of getting the rest of the depth chart mess sorted out-- and those guys play enough important snaps that it will potentially cost us ballgames.

We then beat Aube, and both miss schools.

lose to LSU and bama..

By seasons end, we will have the talent of an 8-9 win team, but will probably be going to a bowl game of a 6-7 win team. Hence, I think we win 17+ against any opponent in the Liberty or Music City Bowl. If we do manage to hit 8 wins this season, that puts us in a much tougher bowl game and becomes harder to predict.

Definitely, and it's something our fan base has overlooked almost completely.  I'm hoping that a combination of (fingers crossed) better health, healthier turnover margin (a staple of Bielema's Wisconsin teams), better fundamentals, and slower tempo will help to alleviate some of the pressure on depth and give us a crack at bowl eligibility.

7-5 or 9-3 depending on how the out of conference goes. i think people have let last year influence them , just like people let the year before last influenced them. of course we all saw what no coaching does. so excellent coaching gets us back on track.

Texas A&M lost there front 7 on def. two first rd draft picks on off of line. there top WR.

They also lost there OC.

They have to replace a lot. we catch them early in the year at home after they play Bama..
