The lead in the west is down to 2.5!  A slim chance, but there is still a chance!

Which means we will need a one game edge to break the tie breaker.

Well unless LSU loses a game to weather it will be a half game difference from here on out since the Hogs will have played 1 less game in SEC play.

Need Florida to win the series next week.  I don't expect to go and sweep UK so to gain a game we must have Florida win the series next week.

I think we have a better chance of hosting by having LSU sweep and knock Florida out of the hosting shot....then catching LSU...just like now after SC winning 2 at LSU we need Vandy to sweep SC to maybe knock them out of the hosting talk

How much, if any, will this have on our RPI, since we swept SC?

things we need from others

NMexico to keep winning to stay in the Top 50
A&M to start winning to get back in the Top 50
Gonzaga to start winning to stay in the Top 100
Pacific to start winning to get out of the 200's
Evansville to start winning to get out of the 200's

I agree after thinking about it. We lost 2 of 3 to LSU so them continuing to win helps our RPI and will also knock UF out of hosting. I don't think finishing second in the SEC guarantees us anything. What did UK finish last year in the SEC? Weren't they second overall and sent to Purdue?

Yikes...don't need to know that badly. Ha!

I hope the team (and DVH) takes Missouri State seriously on Tuesday.

Well if we tie with LSU, won't we be ahead since we will have one fewer losses?

kinda sucks at the same time though, I'd love to see us win 3rd in the SEC outright and our game getting cancelled today kept us from keeping a full game lead on em

god I hate rain

Well let me rephrase what I meant.

If we end up with the same number of wins, we will be ahead of them due to us having one less loss than them.

Do you let Fant go 60 pitches in Tuesday to get some work in?

Exactly what I was thinking as well.  Let Fant start Tuesday and go 3-4 innings.

Sounds like a good plan. But DVH has won a lot more games than I have. Although I did have pretty good run as a little league coach. Ha!

Probably had a stacked team.

Oh no doubt. Manipulated the draft. Took a lot of lumps for a year, but dominated after that.
