Hopefully he keeps doing that. I'm not saying Cam is good but if Les would ever get out of the way and let an OC do his job they could be very dangerous.

Cam Cameron was a great OC at San Diego under Schottenheimer.

Cam supposedly installed the Ravens offense. When Caldwell took over, the in-game play calling got better but the successful play book and sets didn't change much from what Cam installed.

Not a horrible hire. Time will tell though.

Not a horrible hire? Really? I mean, Saban wasn't a horrible hire for them either. At least Luck wasn't a completely horrible draft choice.

Cam Cameron is a great hire IMO. 15 years of NFL experience. His offenses were always in the top 15 and he has done a pretty good job at developing qb's. Some of his game to game decisions were questionable, i.e. if Flacco was struggling, he make Flacco throw 50+ times and only give it to Ray Rice 8, usually this would happen on the road, so that's not good.

Still, I would be equally excited if he was our OC instead of Chaney, though I would be less intrigued and would still really, really want to have Pittman.

Think I'll take Drew Brees' word on this one--he gives CC a large amount of credit in his development as a player.  I think he turned out OK

I actually think He is a very good OC. Uses Running Backs a lot in passing game.

I don't understand why you think that.
He was a pretty successful NFL OC for a number of years.
He developed Rivers at San Diego and Flacco at the Ravens.
He's the best LSU has had in a long time.

Cam Cameron was a horrible head coach at Indiana and the Dolphins. As an OC, he's had his moments but he tends to get too cute like a previous poster stated with 50 passes and 7-8 carries for Ray Rice.

I'm not sure how he will do in college. Either boom or bust I suspect. I hope the latter.

If he was free to run his offense, Less would not be happy, so I figure it will be a typical Miles hodgepodge offense with a little option, a little wildcat and a litlle bit of everything short of the wishbone.

Interceptionburger will be better, but look for a lot less power running, which may be good news for opponents.

I don't think this is necessarily good for us. If there's anyone les would give the reins of the offense to CC looks the part. Years of experience in pro's, good QB developing, great use of running backs ( which lsu is always stacked with).
Let's just hope les' ego gets in the way. Or the curse of the inept quarterback at lsu lives on.
