Haith is a joke. One of the most immature coaches in D1. I think we all saw his true character in the 1st half of the ARK-MIZZ game in Columbia. A real coach doesn't storm towards the opposing coach. I have a lot of respect towards coaches but, I really dislike this guy.

When Coach Anderson was at Mizzou, players went to class, did not goof off and they attempted to fulfill the role of student-athlete. Haith has brought in less than desirable guys that have huge attitude issues and are basically jerks to most everyone on campus. Haith is not a friendly guy and is pretty full of crap in all areas. Basically a bad guy who is getting worse.
Haith to Rutgers is being specualted by some local people, would not shock me.

I think the guy is almost certifiable, but I would actually hate for him to leave.  I mean, everytime UA plays Mizzou it's going to be the kind of stuff to pop a big bowl of popcorn to.  I've never seen a situation where you're waiting for the coaches themselves to start rumbling.  Gonna be great from here out if Haith stay's.  To me, THAT's the rivalry....if another even-keel coach comes in to Mizzou, it'll be just another SEC game.

The bottom line is that any discusssion involving Missouri, you're right in the middle of it, taking the pro-Missouri stance 99% of the time...yet claiming to be neutral. It's the hypocrisy that's annoying.

The interesting study would be why a healthy portion of Hog fans dislike Missouri so much. I will admit they may be my least favorite SEC team. One would think a team like Tennessee or Alabama or LSU would inspire more animosity. LSU's fans get mentioned a lot(by almost all SEC fans) as being some of the most obnoxious, and I would agree with that.

But LSU doesn't fixate upon Arkansas. No other SEC school, even S Carolina who joined the SEC at the same time, fixates on Arkansas like Mizzou does. I think that's the deal with me. First, most of the Mizzou fans I've encountered don't treat Arkansas very well. Most of them definitely want to compare themselves to Arkansas, or out-do them. I don't like being someone else's national title game, which I think we are with Mizzou. I've never heard of 3000 fans showing up at an away SEC game before. That's not good fan support, that's just creepy. They didn't do that for any other road game, did they? And I just don't think they're a good fit for the SEC because they're in the Midwest. They had a good thing going with the Big 12...had a great rivalry with Kansas that ended. But, to their credit, they actually were trying to join the Big 10(which is a better fit), but ended up in the SEC, who needed someone to balance A&M.

Oh well.
