Question:
On the one kickoff thercvr was straddling the sideline. He then got both feet in bounds, caught the ball, stepped on the line, then ran up field. They called him out where he stepped out of bounds, but how can he legally catch the ball at the 6 when he was/had already stepped out of bounds on his own?  He should not have been allowed to catch the ball and it should have been a penalty correct?

good question i know you cant come back onto the playing field and catch a pass, but is this also true for kickoffs? seems like it should be
