Is Jim Leavitt hirable?

@coachingsearch Pete Rousell keeps bringing up this guy. Is he even hirable after he got fired at USF for "striking" a player?

Why? He pretty much built the USF program.

The guy is a prick and got canned for physically assaulting a player not to mention interfering with the investigation. Yep sounds like a good candidate to me.

Petrino was a a-hole to everyone, this team needs a prick of a coach. I hope thats what we get, not some GOB Nutt-esque clown like we have now..

Got some problems. Bama interviewed him during the triple-mike debacles and went stone cold on him in a hurry. Never came out but it was before the striking a player incident and a friend in the athletic department said it was bad.

I know I know,   but if we are going to hire damaged goods lets just hire what we know works.  CBP!!!!
