And while we're talking about this, a minor point . . . I've seen the finish of our new helmets described as "matte", but - in fact - it is more of a satin finish.

A true matte looks like this:

Ours is somewhere between the shiny finish we had last season and a true matte:

As I said, not a big deal.  But, one day we may play with a true matte, which would be a little different.

I like the satin finish over the matte finish.  I'm not a fan of the charcoal / anthracite / black whatever on the back though.  I don't really dislike it, just think I'd rather it be a solid color whether that's white or red.

cardinal red and bright white for me. I just want them to win, so color is really immaterial.
