Only one coach has ever won a Super Bowl and come back to college to coach, Bill Walsh. He was past his prime, post 60, and went back to Stanford where they don't really invest in sports.

According to my very short research, so I could well be wrong, no Super Bowl winner has ever gone to coach a college team that is willing to invest in being a winner and in the prime of his career. Now, if this were to happen, I have to believe the recruiting boom with today's media and Twitter and Facebook, and around the clock sports coverage would be nothing short of spectacular.

Should a team manage such a coup, their talent level in three years is likely to be much improved in my estimation.
