Does anybody else notice this sense of destiny surrounding USC much like the feeling surround the 1995 Arkansas basketball team in Seattle?  Think about it, Arkansas nearly lost to Syracuse, but escaped thanks to a Lawrence Moten timeout when they had none left.....seems awfully similar to Matt Leinart getting pushed into the endzone by Reggie Bush against Notre Dame.  Then Arkansas struggled to beat Memphis in OT, a team the hogs never should have struggled against.  Kind of like when Fresno State nearly beat the Trojans in LA.  Then you have the first game of the Final Four, against North Carolina, the team that was supposed to dethrone the hogs.  Corliss Williamson made Rasheed Wallace look silly, and the hogs coasted.  Similar to the UCLA game to end the year for USC.  Drew Olson was supposed to rival Leinart, never happened, 66-19 final score.  Now we've listened to all this talk about how USC could be the best team of all-time, and everyone's forgotten about Texas.  Seems to me the Trojans think they can just show up and win.  Could Texas shock the world?  People seem to love them nationally just like they did UCLA in 95, without considering how questionalbe the character on the team is.  Jim Harrick vs. Mack Brown, who's the bigger hack??  The similarities are scary....
Worrying is like a rocking chair...it gives you something to do, but you don't get anywhere.
