Like most of us, I have been coming unraveled by the directions/status of our two major sports on the Hill.  As I read this and other Razorback boards, I recognize that we have some of the most passionate fans in all of college athletics.  Aren't we lucky?  Hell, recruits should be concerned if we weren't pissed off about the recent performance of the Hogs.

We come on here to vent with similarly situated fans.  We want to experience the highest levels of success on a consistent basis.  When we don't, we pitch a fit and when we do, many of us become rather bored with it - see the country's best Track and Field program.

Make no mistake friends, this stuff has nothing to do with who deserves it or wants it most.  If that were the basis for success, the Hogs would have won a couple of football national championships and the Miami Hurricanes would still suck.

To the recruits out there reading this board:  Come to Arkansas.  We have passionate fans, a beautiful campus, a fine university that is getting better every day, post graduate opportunities and the best looking women in the country.  Oh, by the way, we play in the SEC and plan on winning the West next year, if we get a few breaks and find the right quarterback.

Things aren't as bad as we think.  If you aren't a fan yet, just know that we have lost our perspective on reality.  Being a Razorback is great fun.

Karma for you, great post.  Yes we are passionate about our team.  Too much so at times.  I get depressed with every loss and excited with every win.  GO HOGS!   :razorback:

The only thing I'm passionate about is beer, my dogs, my PS2, my car and NFL. Oh, and porn.

Hey, ArkansasI, this was great.  "...if we get a few breaks and find the right quarterback..."   Man, you could almost be Huston Nutt, he's looking for the same things too!   Clever post dude!

See ya
Give a man a fish, he will eat for a day, teach a man to fish and he will spend all of his money on fishing tackle.....!
