he may have been timed in that time in a camp once, but he's faster than that, according to people I know who have seen him play. Be thankful he clocked such a bad time and comes from Ashdown or we'd be fighting somebody good for him and losing him. Right now, it's just a fight with Houston (the univ.)

So, are you saying our initial list was significantly smaller this year (less than 400 starting in the summer) than it would have been had we been recruiting 25. Sorry, that's not how it works.

Yes, quite likely.

Also, to the claim above, no way in hell did this coaching staff plan to offer only 12 scholarships this year.  Absolutely untrue.  Last summer they had expected to be able to offer at least 18.  Were they too stingy with offers early in the process, very likely.  Did they try to stay on board with a lot of players, yes.  Did they succeed, no.
