with the administration on the hill, a series with Arkansas State in all major sports may not be such a bad idea. A loss or close shave to AState might mean the administration actually does something. Monopolies are rarely a good thing.

Not a bad thought, but if this season and the debacle that is our recruiting at this point wasn't enough to spur the administration into doing anything, I'm not sure a loss to UA-Monticello would be sufficient to bring about positive change. 

The only thing that is going to spur action is a decline in $$$, and that just isn't happening any time soon.

the loss in revenue might occur if some Hog fans who are not necessarily gruaduates of the UA sense that AState is being run better might place their money elsewhere. That would get Brolyes and company's attention in a hurry.
