If Tyler Wilson ever sees the field in an actual game, I'll be extremely shocked.

Another Mitchell TD.

I've been saying since he signed, Tyler had no chance to compete against this guy.

There's a reason LSU wanted him.

One thing I noticed about our Defense is they are HITTING, and theres better coverage (save the last play). No burns yet though so theres some hope.

Mitchell is phenominal. SO impressed

Ok, got ya.  Mitchell's talent vs high school teams.  Might as well be reading Cowheard or some other blowhard.

Run defense looks pretty good on both sides.  Defense looks pretty solid at the first and second levels.  Hope the long completions are more an indication of the quality of our receivers than a statement on our pass defense.

Impressed with Brandon Mitchell and Jacoby Walker so far, and even Nick Petrino with his grasp of the offense.

Those that were high on the defense should already be concerned. The long plays you are seeing against backup QBs are going to be the norm once again. They are getting destroyed by the pass and the run.

I don't deny that he will be good and that he is our future.  Mitchell > Mallett based on a few series in a spring games seems a bit of a stretch to me.  No offense.  Just stating my opinion.

BM will be 2nd string this season. Wilson will transfer to Tulsa before the summer is over.

Why would Wilson want to transfer and lose a year? If he did transfer I would think he would go to a division 1-aa school so he could play right away. Regardless, seriously doubt he transfers before the Fall. The backup job will be open going into the Fall. Walker will redshirt.

Stop crying. You know the opinion of a few people on here isn't the opinion of most Hog fans. I don't expect Wilson or Mitchell to play a whole lot this year. Mitchell might get more snaps due to him being a runner. The future QB is open. Could be Wilson. Could be Mitchell. Could be Allen or Frazier.

Wait and see.  He dominates when there is no pressure, and freaks out when under pressure.  That is not what you want in a QB.  I hoped it could change, but gave up on him when I heard a spring practice interview.  He'll be a top NFL pick, and the biggest bust since Ryan Leaf.  Time will tell who is right and who is wrong.

Why the flaming hate in the spring/ the man is injured

He doesn't deal with pressure very well I agree.  How well has Mitchell played against collegiate defenses?
