Suprised about Elmer Martin

Man I always liked this guy when he played for Arkansas , thought he was headed down the right road too. Does anyone have anymore info on whats been going on in his life?

Man.  Tough news.  I had a class with him back then.  Nice guy.  Quiet.  It's a shame how life can lead you to such bad decisions.  I think we all like to freeze those moments (94 Championship) in time and remember each player as they were back then.  But life goes on.  For better or worse.  In this case, for worse.  Thanks for the post.

I guess that means he won't be there when the team gets honored this year?  Too bad!!

I hate it for his family, but I personally hate to see someone waste a "free" education. He was at the U long enough to put himself in a position to graduate and succeed.
