He had sports hernia surgery at the end of the summer.
He hasn't played in a preseason game for the Nuggets yet, but they said he'll get some PT during the regular season.
Hopefully this injury doesn't slow him down too bad.

The only guy that would have competed with him for PT as a backup won't be back. So it should be him and Jr smith covering 2guard spot. With smith being a headcase and usually in a coaches doghouse... This is about the best chance sonny could have asked for in the NBA... I can honestly think of no other place hed have this much of a chance to succeed at... I hope he makes the most of it
