Poor guy just doesn't have it in him.  Sadly, he needs to find another career option.

Due to Hill's potential I believe he can get a shot with another time. Portland wasn't really a great fit, I mean the team has Greg Oden, LaMarcus Aldridge, and Channing Frye.  His basketball career is not over.

Is it any real surprise?

actually, yes... if you'd paid attention the guy had a legit shot of making the roster... according to everything I read, the team, coach and fans all embraced him... It's not too often you see a guy stick with the same team all through summer league and preseason if he doesnt have a decent shot.
