I've got a question on the recruting aspects, few years back it if my memory recalls right a highly touted rb or qb was on a recuriting visit...during pre-game he was put on the jumbotron and it was announced it was his birthday. The crowd of thousands proceded to sing happy birthday to the young man. Shortly after that he committed saying that was the most amazing thing that happened to him. Sorry i can't remember his name or the school. I've just seen how high school recurits are shown on tv on recuriting visits and was wondering why not do the same at the game. I personally would love after i committed to a school maybe the next week it was announced at the game i had committed and was in attendance or a top recurit acknowledged by the announcer. Is that against NCAA rules? I know we parade the recurits around the school and game, why not get the crowd involved?

It has been outlawed by the NCAA.
