Why buy the spread down? Either play the other way or play on the money line

because id rather push than lose a nickle because WVU only won by 7

No way Notre Dame loses to Purdue by more than 22 points. Take ND in all their awfulness and you'll still come out ahead.  I've got money on ND, Cal +5, WVU -6.5, Iowa St. +21, and Auburn +18.

There is another post that has been going all week about betting lines...  I have the exact opposite of everything you just posted.  We shall see....

Have you watched Purdue play at all this year?

They're a 45PPG offense, playing a ND team with 2 offensive TDs on the season.  It would not surprise me to see them beat ND by 30+
No cause, ever, in the history of all mankind, has produced more cold-blooded tyrants, more slaughtered innocents, and more orphans than socialism with power. It surpassed, exponentially, all other systems of production in turning out the dead. The bodies are all around us. And here is the problem: No one talks about them. No one honors them. No one does penance for them. No one has committed suicide for having been an apologist for those who did this to them. No one pays for them. No one is hunted down to account for them. It is exactly what Solzhenitsyn foresaw in The Gulag Archipelago: "No, no one would have to answer. No one would be looked into." Until that happens, there is no "after socialism."

I bought a half point on sportsbook.com.   My bet is not looking so good now.

A winner is a winner, but imo you can't make money buying points. Play the money line if you can't beat the spread, but be aware of the sure thing.

WILL CLINTON

I'm 19-13 on posted picks this year for 59%, and I went 3-2 last week winning Ball ST (still 100% on games bet involving Ball St.), Georgia, and Toledo.  I lost on Tulsa and BYU.

This week I like:

Miss St.  2*  over 41  3*

Mississippi State: 6-0 ATS in road games
South Carolina: 12-4 Over as a home favorite

Temple +6½ 2*

Temple: 12-3 ATS away off BB ATS wins
Army: 2-10 ATS off an Over

Ball St -14 5*

Buffalo: 12-5 Over vs. conference opponents
Ball State: 11-1 ATS off an Over

Central Mich -3  3*

Northern Illinois: 0-6 ATS off a road game
Central Michigan: 9-1 ATS vs. conference opponents

UCLA +2   5* lock of the week

UCLA: 7-1 ATS after winning 2 of their last 3 games
Oregon State: 1-6 ATS in September

Nevada -3½  3*

UNLV: 7-18 ATS playing on artificial turf
Nevada: 8-0 ATS as a favorite

Louisville -9  4*

Louisville: 11-2 ATS vs. ACC opponents
NC State: 1-7 ATS in September
There is no sacred ground for the conquered.

hoggydog

my $100 three teamer north texas +36 miami -24 arizona st. -14

I like USF +7 although now that it's the fourth quarter anyone could pick that.  Other games are MTSU -12 vs FIU.  FIU is horrible and MTSU can score.  Illinois +3 vs Penn st, Cal +6 vs Oregon, Indiana +11 over Iowa, and Bama +3 over FSU and their pathetic offense.

hirebutchdavis

Alabama +3 kansas st +14.4
USC -21   Oklahoma -22
Cincy -14

So far your WVU pick was wrong.  I really think (and I have money down) that all your picks are wrong!

Still feel that way?!!  If Auburn shows up and Cal holds in 4th Q, I'm in the money.

Rutgers is about to cost me.  Same for Clemson.  That wastes what I thought was my best pick of the day (Central Michigan).

Kent is about to cover.  SMU is up (-3) by 14.  Cincinnati plays later.

Bet on the underdogs! Vegas hasn't caught up with all the parity in CFB these days.   I'm telling you, I've done very well the last couple years with that approach.  I won about 6 of my 9 weekly 3 team parlays betting the dogs last year and having similar success this year.  I got five of six correct today.
