For almost two months, the energetic Arkansas Razorbacks guard played basketball non-stop.

Aside from a cruise Beverley and his mother took to Mexico and a quick trip to Chicago, his life was essentially confined to a court. Even on Monday, while students trudged through campus for the first day of classes at the University of Arkansas, Beverley could be found working up a sweat at Bud Walton Arena.

" I've been raised trying to prove myself, " said Beverley, a 6-1 sophomore. " And I won't stop until I am in the NBA. "
