His list is as follows:

Baylor (offer)  High Interest
Kansas (offer)  High Interest
Ole Miss (offer)  High Interest
Arkansas   Medium
LSU     Medium
Miami (offer)  Medium
Kentucky (offer)  Medium

May have some ground to gain, Coach Evans is the key.

I thought we were in the top 3, but if Evans is really the key (I think he is) then we may be in trouble because I believe Evans is headed to New Mexico.

As do I, hopefully whoever we get in has some contacts set up and ready to go.

Ole Miss has Andy Kennedy now and he is a serious upgrade over Rod Barnes.

I been writing about how impressive Coach Kennedy is on this board for a few months now.

Still don't understand why Arkansas didn't at least check in with him when there was an opening on the hill.

Not yet according to the interview between TRG and his coach back on May 1:

http://www.hogville.net/yabbse/index.php?topic=134721.0

"Head Coach Chris Oney. He said Coach Pelphrey stopped by the school yesterday to check on Terrance Henry. Henry is 6'9 190 combo forward from Carroll HS, Monroe Louisiana.

He and Coach Pelphrey spoke very briefly but he did say Coach Pelphrey said Arkansas planned to offer Terrance."

So Tom do you think that it might be why we are not one of his high interest schools, because we have not officially offered yet?

I don't know, but what does Baylor have to offer?

jhudson84

one would think after all that went down there bball recruits would want no part in their situation for a few years, especially since they were not that great before the whole ordeal.

True but despite all what had happened and the penalties against the program Coach Scott Drew has done an unbelievable job of getting great players interested in Baylor and has signed more then his share.

The Bears signed the No.7 rated class in 2005.

As a matter of fact if you compare the kind of talent Arkansas and Baylor has attracted over the last few years the Bears have done a much better job of recruiting.

Since Drew has been there they have signed the likes of Lacedarius Dunn, Demond Carter, Mohammed Kone, Kevin Rogers, and Henry Dugat.

Look at the database for the 2008 class and you will see names like Greg Monroe, Willie Warren, J'Covan Brown, Anthony Jones, Steve Tchiengang, Terrance Henry, Jeremy Green, and Brandon Moore, etc.

Now if Coach Drew and staff can make all that talent mesh together then Baylor can go places
