The Recruiting Guy

Tim is a 5'11 170 SS/UF from Fayetteville that bats right and throw right.

TRG: Tell me about this past season at Fayetteville.

Tim: I felt like our team accomplished a lot we grew togeteher and our coach helped us through a lot and it was a good experience to accomplished that feat twice. (Back to Back state championships)

TRG: Tell me the schools that showed intrest in you and why you picked Arkansas?

Tim: Crowder college, Oklahoma St. and for the most part I chose Arkansas because I've always lived here. I love the facilities and coach Van Horn is a great coach and it's the best place for me to move on to the next level.

TRG: What has Coach Van Horn said about your role next year?

Tim: He sees me as a utility infielder and hopefully my bat will come through next year and I'll coming up and working out getting stronger.

TRG: What do you do best?

Tim: I feel like my fielding is my strong point.

TRG: What your strong point at the plate?

Tim: I'm aggressive but that's also my weak point that I'm too aggressive and I need to be more patient and pick the pitch I want.

TRG: What's your personal goals for next year?

Tim: My personal goals are to become a better player and help the team make it to Omaha next year.

Tim was enjoying the College World series in Omaha when I called him. Lucky guy.
