We all know about the GREAT class of 2006 that "The Ohio State University" signed that featured Oden, Conley, and Cook as the headliners.

Well Matta just picked up his 2nd top ten recruit of the class of 2010 in PF Deshaun Thomas. He already had a commitment from  PF Jared Sullinger

I don't need to say how that is some ridiculous recruiting. Not since John Wooden days have I heard of this kind of recruiting.

Roy Williams, Lute Olson, Jim Calhoun, John Calipari, are great recruiters.I always had Bill Self as the top recruiter, but Thad Matta is topping them all.

I know it helped to sign Oden in 2006, but he quickly signed a great class in 2007 to follow up.

These kids from younger classes can only verbal at this point (08,09, &10).  Early signing for 08 is not until the fall.  Other teams can go after these guys until they sign.
Matta has talent at his footstep in Ohio, but in my opinion he is not a top 5 X and O coach.

Matta is going to become a hot NBA commodity really soon.  With what hes got and what hes going to get.  Theres no way he sticks around Columbus for too long.

I though some flags should have been raised with the Oden Class but with the 2007 class they should be raised no doubt. No way You can recruit to O state like that and tell me Everything is being done by the book!!!
