(correct spelling) Coleson Rakestraw is easily more advanced than his older brother Nathan at the same age.....

Pelphrey is making inroads into Arkansas quickly, and is working 2 classes ahead.

As a hog fan, this makes me very happy.
Go Hogs!

hawg1504

I have seen most of these kids play and i would have to say that Aaron Hawley will be the best player out of the state of Arkansas in the 09 class. I believe he will be highly rated and recruited.

IcEwalker

can anyone give like some heights, positions, and player comparisons, to give me an idea of what type of players these guys are?

what type of player is Hawley and Donley?

Wow, that is an impressive in-state list.  UK has one on the radar for 08 from Kentucky and not sure about the 09 class.  We did get an 09 commit out of Texas already, GJ Villarino.  Sounds like Arkansas is growing some good in-state kids.  Our problem is we have to compete with Loserville (Louisville) and Indiana for our kids.

I believe AJ Walton will be the most sought after 09 prospect.  Pure Point guard.

Tennessee's (Bruce Pearl) has started invading Kentucky also for talent...

Hawley is about a 6'6 2 or 3 man that can score from anywhere. Very talented player. Skilled at every position

impressive, and still has two years to fine tune the skills.

With this many players we will likely miss out on some.  Especially if we also mix in some out of state talent.

jhudson84

Derrick Favors (5star top 3 in the nation) from ATL is interested in Arkansas if we could get him than I would let all these guys get away.

Yep, Pearl got Chris Lofton from Mason County and they have historically gotten some Kentucky kids that live especially close to their boarders.

Hawley is very good from Rogers, but Hubble on that list should not be considered at D1 prospect.

bigt05
