Working on the theory that it's never too early to shop ahead in recruiting, Arkansas Coach John Pelphrey has offered a second scholarship for the 2009 signing class.

Pelphrey extended a scholarship to Little Rock Hall point guard A. J. Walton on Tuesday, Walton's father, Anthony Walton, said. Pelphrey made the offer through A. J. Walton's father.

If that kind of attitude doesn't get you excited what will? Hope his game day x's and o's cut it in the SEC. This is going to be fun to watch.
