The Recruiting Guy

March 27, 2007, 08:19:17 pm Last Edit: March 27, 2007, 08:37:45 pm by Richard Davenport
about 20 minutes ago. Here's what he had to say.

TRG: What's the status of your commitment to Arkansas?

Jenirro: I want to see to who the next coach is before I know if I want to go there or not.

TRG: What other schools are you interested in?

Jenirro: U Conn. Georgia St. and Virgina.

TRG: What about the Mississippi schools?

Jenirro: Ole Miss is still kinda in it.

TRG: What about Mississippi State?

Jenirro: I'm not interested in them.

Jenirro said he talked to Coach Heath after his release and Heath mentioned he was sorry that it had to happen. Jenirro said he had developed a very good relationship with the players.

Despite of the firing of Coach Heath I still believe Jenirro is very interested in Arkansas. I believe the right coach can convince Jenirro to be a Razorback.

Thanks.  Let's hope we are able to retain him.

Richard, as usual you are right on top of things. Thanks. :razorback:
Not trying to brag or make anyone jealous but I can still fit into the same pair of socks I wore in high school.

SPAL

Since 1894

The first thing I heard today was that he grew up on a pig farm. That's quite a start in my book. And my last memory was watching him hang 70 on Nebraska. Just those two facts are enough (for me to like him). Then, I hear that he's out of the Hayden Fry-Bill Snyder-Barry Alvarez coaching tree. Oh, that's enough for me to like a lot. Then, I hear he's got a 27-year-old wife. Okay, we can stop. I like him.

great job thanks for the info, I do think that if we get a big coach he will still be on the hill next year.

did you ask what he thought about BCG?

I didn't ask. I dropped the ball on that one.

I'm sure Mike will ask on Press Row in the morning.

The three "other" schools he mentioned were UConn, Georgia St. and Virginia?

Do you mean Georgia Tech?

Check out the coach at Georgia State. That should answer your question.
