I am no expert on Charlotte, but I really enjoyed a trip we took for a soccer game. I really enjoyed the fact that there were alot of nice parks around the stadium and plenty of places to eat/drink within walking distance. I would recommend Pinky's Westside Grill. It was on that Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives show. Since we had a short stay, we decided to try it out and it was pretty good. The pimento fries are a must. Also, I may be easy to please and haven't been to alot of NFL stadiums, but I was pretty impressed with the stadium. It isn't anything like say one of these huge state of the art facilities like the Vikings or Cowboys have put up recently, but for what it is, I thought it was really nice.

so you want locker rooms, showers & bathrooms to be open to anyone who wants to use them, according to what they identify with not biological make up

discrimination would be that a certain group would not have access to a bathroom, that is not what the bill is.

If you need some fast food eat at a Cookout.  You can get a double burger, hushpuppies, quesadilla and a milkshake for around $6 with tax.  I would be insanely obese if we had one in NWA.

If you want good food and cheap make sure to go to Murts. Its down by the epic center.  Soul food at its finest.

Stay away from downtown at night, its not bad, just a lot clubs and crazy , unless you like that, then its great

Would suggest south end, its only about 1 mile form downtown/uptown.  Also try these breweries if you can

Also the best Gyros( as good as you will get overseas)   Little Village Grill. Its a Must have...

http://nodabrewing.com    Tons of cool places to eat in NoDa as well  Highly recommend this area.

http://www.triplecbrewing.com  this is in the south end.. Tons of great places here and restaurants

A ton of history at this place, too bad it is closing after the first of the year...

I know two people who have eaten at Cook Out (different locations and different times) and both got food poisoning.  My sample size is small, but it's enough to discourage me.

Food's not that good, but shakes are pretty delish. Lots of flavors, too.

If you know any veterans who want to go to the game, there is a website called Vettix.org and you can register (have to prove you are a veteran) they still have 600 tickets for the game. Im a Gator fan (I know.. relax) but I am going to the game because I live in Charlotte and gonna root for the SEC Razorbacks (even bought a shirt). I hate to see these tickets go to waste. BTW- they are free. My seats are in Sec 140 row 9 right by the end zone.

Goto Walmart. Go on tobacco tours.

Whatever you do, don't go into the ladies restroom.
Yes use the restroom for the gender listed on your birth certificate. I am out of NC now so I do not have to tolerate the backward thinking. It's sad when a state has to pass a law to keep men out of the girls restroom and vice versa.

I laugh at all you idiots who complain about Charlotte. You could be in super McGehee aka Memphis or super ashdown Shreveport for a bowl game. North Carolina is a pretty state and you can find stuff to do. Nwa is slap full of hipster weird white folks. Stay in Asheville a few days then drive over to the game. About the same demographic and has plenty of "hip" breweries and things to do. Plus you'll feel at home in the applachians. You guys won't have to tuck your purses there when you see a "minority".

I got some tickets through friends in Tulsa, but I think your best bet is just the OSU ticket site.  Tickets are $10 each, shockingly.  Hog fans are sitting all over the place.. no designated section other than the seats right behind bench that are sold.

I live in the Tulsa area but unfortunately will be out of town that weekend.  Arkansas has a lot of alumni in Oklahoma but gets absolutely zero coverage or merchandise sold here (I think the ou and osu guys are afraid to feed the beast that is Arkansas sports).  Anyways, this is a good opportunity for Arkansas to show their presence in this awful state.
