I just talked to RB LaMichael James

There have been rumors that LaMicheal has been offered by Arkansas for quite sometime. Everytime I hear I text LaMichael and he texts back saying he hasn't.

I heard the same today and called LaMichael and he said an administrator at his school told him today Arkansas offered him today but he hasn't been texted or received anything in the mail saying he had a offer.

He also said that Tulsa had offered but he didn't know about it.

A lot of coaches like for the schools to go through them first and the coach will tell the kid. Others don't care and leave the recruiting process to the kid and his parents. That's a fine line that schools must figure out before offering. If a kid gets an offer and the coach wasn't told first then some coaches get upset.

Sometimes a scholarship has to go through certain channels before the kid hears about it. I'll try and talk to one of his coaches and see exactly when he was offered.
