Tennessee is expected to hire Brady Hoke to become its defensive line coach, while former D-Line coach Steve Stripling has the option to move inside to an administrative role

Quote58-year-old Hoke was fired as Oregon's defensive coordinator at the end of last year, his only season in Eugene. Prior to that, Hoke served as Michigan's head coach for four years before being fired and replaced by Jim Harbaugh.

Veteran coach is also known as a top recruiter with West Coast coaches. Super Bowl MVP Tom Brady was one of many players Hoke recruited to Michigan in the 1990s.

Coach Butch Jones made it clear at the end of the regular season there would be staff changes after a 9-4 campaign that fell short of team goals.

The Vols hired secondary coach in Charlton Warren away from North Carolina and landed veteran quarterbacks coach Mike Canales from Utah State two weeks ago. Former Miami Hurricanes interim head coach Larry Scott was promoted to offensive coordinator.
