Fournette reveals Ed Orgeron forced him to sit out bowl game

Former LSU running back revealed that it was Tigers head coach Ed Orgeron's decision for Fournette to sit out the game.

And Fournette "cried like a baby" because of the decision.

"To be honest, it really wasn't my decision," Fournette told NFL Now Live. "My coach brought me into the office. He told me, 'You have a lot on the line.' He didn't want me to play. I cried like a baby. It was hard for me. That was my first time not really traveling with the team and I couldn't play in a game with my brothers. I'm going to miss them."

At the time, Fournette said it was a decision between himself and Orgeron. Fournette had missed several games during the 2016 season with an ankle injury.

LSU didn't need Fournette against Louisville.
