Bugarin lines a 2-2 pitch to SS, 1 down.
Yannetti also out to SS, this time with a pop up.
Russell gets on when 2b throws ball past 1b on grounder (E-4), advances to 2b.
Russell steals third!!
Canfield grounds to SS, but she boots it. Canfield safe at 1st, Russell scores unearned. 2-0 Hogs.
Hiers walks on 4 pitches.
Schroeder works a full count and then knocks a triple, scoring both Hiers and Canfield (unearned). 4-0 Hogs.
Diaz gets another RBI single, this time bringing in Schroeder, 5-0 Hogs.
Belans fouls out to C to end the inning. Hogs get 4 unearned runs to go up 5-0.

Back to Storms in B2; she'll face the 6-7-8 hitters.

UML is clearly the gang that can't shoot straight today. Warrick reaches on a grounder to 3rd, E5.

Yannetti K's, also.
Stop me if you've heard this one: Russell grounds to SS, who throws it away, E6. Russell to 2nd on the errant throw, Warrick to 3rd.
Canfield up.
Wild pitch scores Warrick from 3rd, Russell advances to 3rd - 6-0 Hogs.
Canfield starts out 0-2, works a full count, and doubles, scoring Russell. 7-0 Hogs.
Hiers works a full count, but goes down swinging to end the inning.

On to B3, Storms to face the 9-1-2 hitters leading 7-0 (all runs but 1 unearned).

Interesting - Sydney Benz (transfer from Louisville) in to pinch hit for Belans (transfer from FIU).
Benz works a walk, Parr to 2nd, 1 out.
Warrick hits into FC, they get the lead runner at 3rd, Warrick at 1b, Benz at 2b, 2 out.
Tori Cooper on to PH for Bugarin.
Cooper delivers a single up the middle, scoring Benz from 2b. Warrick to 2nd. 2 on, 2 out.
Beringhele on to run for Warrick at 2b.
Run rule is now in effect at 8-0 Hogs.
Run rule is SUPER in effect now, as Yannetti blasts a 3-run HR!! 11-0 Hogs.
Russell singles to 1b.
Canfield ends the inning with a grounder to SS that they actually don't boot!

Storms will face the 3-4-5 hitters in the B4. Six more outs and we have a run-rule win, if we keep them to 3 or fewer runs.

Stewart in to pitch for Storms. Yay, Allison!

She gets a grounder off her glove that Yanetti fields and throws to 1b for first out.
Second out comes on a more traditional ground ball to 2b.
Stewart gets third out on a come-backer to her.

3 up, 3 down. Very happy for Allison!
Cooper stayed in to play LF, and Parr stayed in to play RF, too.

On to T5, with Hiers, Parr (!), and Diaz due up.

Hiers flies out to RF for first out.
Parr up for her first AB as a Hog! She works a walk.
Diaz singles, and Parr motors around to 3b. Pocklington on to run for Diaz.
Runners at the corners, 1 out for Belans, who grounds the first pitch into a DP. :-(
I'll bet Belans is frustrated. She's not having a strong start at the plate.

On to the B5, Stewart (I assume) back to circle to face 6-7-8 hitters, 3 outs away from RR win.

Stewart gets first out on a liner to LF.
Next hitter flies out to RF, two out.
And Stewart ends the game by getting her first K.

Hogs win 11-0, combined shout out from Storms and Stewart. ETA - should have noted that this was a combined 1-hitter!! (And that hit came in the first inning.)

Three games, three W's, three double digit offense outputs, and three run rules. :-)

Next up is UNT at 1 pm Central. Assume Moll will get the start.

Interesting note - UMass Lowell beat UNT yesterday 8-6, so unless UNT wins the rematch today, they'll be winless heading into the final game of the weekend against us. The UNT-UMass Lowell game starts in a few minutes.
